0x00 · The Keepers Code manifesto

OurCode.

Our name is a double meaning on purpose. A keeper is something worth holding onto, and the one who guards what matters. Keepers Code is the company, and the code of principles we keep.

0x01 · The whole thing fits in a few lines

Four bits we never flip back.

const keepersCode = {

Keepable

Useful enough to keep, polished enough to love. We would rather ship a few things made well than a pile of features nobody asked for.

Private by design

Local-first, encrypted at rest, no tracking, no data brokering. Your data lives on your device and stays yours. We cannot sell what we never collect.

Independent

No investors steering the roadmap, no advertisers to please. We answer to the people who actually use our apps, and we would like to keep it that way.

Built to last

Software that is maintained, updated, and supported by real people. We make keepers, not abandonware. The app you install today should still be good in five years.

0x03 · One studio, distinct apps

The studio keeps the promise.
Each app keeps its own voice.

The studio

Bits on black, and gold for what we keep.

Quiet, exact, made to last. The mark on the back of the work, the kind you would engrave, not slap on.

The apps

Colour, texture, personality.

Each app carries its own character, discovered when you click through to it.
